The number of KU’s fields of study that are ranked in the top 100 has steadily increased, from 22 in 2018 and 26 in 2019 to 27 in 2020 and 28 in 2021. Unlike other universities, KU’s fields of study that are listed in the top 100 are not concentrated in a certain area, but are instead evenly distributed across disciplines, with 14 of them being part of the humanities and 13 being part of the natural sciences. This is a result of KU’s consistent efforts to promote the balanced development of all fields of study.
