Despite the initial plan to establish five departments (Law, Plutology, Agriculture, Commerce, and Engineering) and Foreign Language Studies Program, only two 2-year programs are launched initially: the Professional Department of Law and the Professional Department of Plutology.
Shin Hae-yeong is inaugurated as the first president. The buildings of the National Russian Language School (俄語學校) in Bak-dong becomes Bosung’s first campus.
