The Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, and Department of Chemistry are merged into the College of Science.

    The Department of Nursing within the College of Medicine is elevated to the College of Nursing. The Department of Information Statistics is merged into the College of Natural Sciences. The Department of Agricultural Economics within the College of Resource Science is renamed the Department of Food and Resource Economics within the College of Natural Resources. The Department of Forest Resources is renamed the Department of Forest Resources and Environmental Science.
    A new division system is adopted and launched.
